This is a new site for me, but I am not new to this particular scene. I’ve been building and maintaining websites for fun since I was a teenager, which was much longer ago than I care to admit. To give you a sense of how long, I vividly remember when the Space Jam site was a fresh example of what you could do with HTML…
The circumstances that inspired me to create this website were less than ideal, but I’m hoping to take a negative situation and turn it into something positive. With this blog, I’ll focus primarily on the lighter things in life that matter to me – hence the name:

While my last blog wasn’t all doom and gloom, I did write an awful lot on issues that have been bothering me in recent years. To make the understatement of the decade, we are collectively Going Through Some Shit, and it’s easy to get bogged down by it all. I’m doing my very best to remember that although people can be incredibly disappointing and cruel, people can also do things like … oh, I dunno, paint amusing hedgehogs that look as though they have tiny matches for quills.
